Online Car Cost Calculator and 2012 AAA Car Cost Breakdown

Do you really know how big a bite your car is taking from your pocketbook? Does roughly double the price of a modestly priced new car over five years sound about right? As they say, “Your mileage may vary,” but even inexpensive and older cars cost much more than they first appear.

For car cost numbers for small, medium and large sedans check out AAA’s Your Driving Costs 2012 brochure (PDF).

Edmunds True Cost to Own Car Cost Calculator This calculator allows you to calculate true costs of ownership on a very wide variety of new and used cars.

Your Vehicle's Depreciation

To see how much value your vehicle will lose this year, use the examples at the bottom of the page OR use an easy online Car Depreciation Calculator to get an even more accurate number.
