Lower Municipal Watershed Amphibian Distribution

Upper Municipal Watershed Amphibian Distribution Med

Amphibians in upper watershedPotential breeding sites for pond-breeding amphibians are limited in the Cedar River Watershed. As shown in the table of Amphibian Species Present by Site, over 80 percent of the sites surveyed in the upper watershed and over 90 percent of those around Chester Morse Lake had at least one species of breeding amphibian. The Cascades frog was found to be breeding in over 75% of the sites in the upper watershed.
