Recycle at Your House
Add or Replace Recycling Container
There are two types of recycling containers:
- • Carts, intended to hold mixed recyclable material such as paper, cardboard, plastic and aluminum cans
- • Glass bins, intended to hold only clean glass bottles and jars.
You can request a replacement for your damaged or missing recycling container or request an additional container online if you:
- • live in a single-family residence
- • have a missing or damaged recycling cart or glass bin
- • have only one recycling cart or glass bin and consistently have too much recycling to fit in your containers.
You will need your current billing statement to replace or obtain additional recycling container(s).

Delivery Time
Due to the success of the recycling program, it is taking our contractor longer to deliver recycling containers. Containers should be delivered within the next 10-15 business days. Orders are being prioritized by the date your recycling container request was received.
Damaged recycling containers
Damaged recycling carts have:
- • holes in the bottom
- • broken handles
- • broken or missing lids
- • broken wheels that prevent the cart from rolling or standing upright
Damaged glass bins are:
Please continue to use the damaged container until your new one is delivered.
Extra recycling or missing containers
- To have your recycling collected:
- • Place your recycling in a box, paper bag or your own container.
- • Place your recycling out for collection at the normal pickup location.
- • Do not put your recycling in plastic bags or your city provided garbage can.
