Recycling and Disposal Stations
A wide range of items—including tires, scrap metal, and vehicle batteries --can be recycled at the two Recycling & Disposal Stations. Regular household garbage and many larger items are accepted for disposal.

Hours
8:00 am to 5:30 pm, 7 days a week
Both stations closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. North station is also closed on July 4th.
Commercial garbage collection truck traffic from about 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

North Recycling and Disposal Station

(located south of the First Avenue South Bridge)

How to Pay
Fees can be paid using cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard.
How to Prepare Items

- • Items—such as syringes and tires—that require special preparation or fees.
- • Materials—such as computers, TVs, asbestos, and explosives—that are not accepted at hazardous waste facilities or Recycling & Disposal Stations.
