Garbage For Apartment Residents

You can recycle many items in your recycling container and help keep garbage volumes lower. View a summary of changes to your collection services.

To ensure pickup, put garbage in the dumpster by 7:00 a.m. on your collection day.

If you don’t know your collection day, call Customer Service at (206) 684-3000.

You can report a missed garbage or recycling collection after 6:00 p.m. on the day it was missed. It will be picked up within two working days. Call (206) 684-7665.

If you need to dispose of furniture or appliances, contact your building manager about scheduling a bulky item collection. See Extra Garbage & Bulky Items.

Starting March 30th you can set out used motor oil or select electronics for free pickup. Check with your manager for details and guidelines.

Why Waste a Good Thing?
Before throwing something in the trash, consider if you can
recycle or reuse it. Even food scraps and yard waste can find a second life as compost. Items such as building materials, vehicle batteries, and tires can be recycled at the Recycling & Disposal Stations. See Special Items for details.
