Shavings and scraps of clean wood can go in the curbside food and yard waste cart, or self-haul to a Transfer Station for a fee.
For curbside pickup: wood scraps can be up to 4 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length. Put pieces in your food and yard waste cart (the lid needs to close) or tie in bundles up to 2 feet in diameter (there is a fee for extra bundles).
Painted or Treated Wood:
Shavings or scraps of painted or treated wood must be disposed of as garbage in your curbside container or taken to the Transfer Station for a fee.
Bag or box up sawdust and place it in the garbage.
