Clean wood (untreated and not painted)
Shavings and scraps of clean wood are food and yard waste. Wood scraps can be up to 4 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length.
Put scraps in your food and yard waste cart or tie in bundles up to 2 feet in diameter using natural fiber twine (not plastic) and set next to your cart. Fees apply for materials that don’t fit in your cart with the lid closed.
Clean wood can also be brought to a Transfer Station for a fee.
Painted or treated wood
Shavings or scraps of painted or treated wood goes in your garbage or can be brought to a Transfer Station for a fee.
Put sawdust in a closed bag and place it in the garbage.
