Small amounts of soil can go in your garbage can - be sure not to exceed weight limits.
Some businesses accept clean dirt and soil for reuse. See the King County website for options.
Otherwise, dispose of as garbage at the Transfer Station. There is a fee. For a lower tip fee, Seattle residents may dispose of construction waste at the Allied Waste facility in South Seattle, Saturday only.
