Can Sizes & Weight Limits

Seattle Public Utilities provides garbage cans in the following sizes. If your garbage can is heavier than the weight limit for its size, it will not be collected.

Micro (12-gallon)
20 pound weight limit		 Mini (20-gallon) *
30 pound weight limit		 32-gallon
60 pound weight limit
12- gallon micro can, 20 pound weight limit 20- gallon micro can, 30 pound weight limit 32-gallon can, 60 pound weight limit

 

64-gallon
120 pound weight limit

 

96-gallon
180 pound weight limit
