Dump/Transfer Stations
A wide range of items—including tires, scrap metal, and vehicle batteries—can be recycled at the two Recycling and Disposal Stations. Regular household garbage and many larger items are accepted for disposal.
Hours
8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 7 days a week.
Both stations are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. The North station is also closed on July 4th.
Locations
Accepted materials include: recyclables, garbage, clean yard waste, clean wood waste, vehicle tires, large appliances, and household sharps.
Pay with: cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard. See rates.
Save yourself a trip. It may cost less to have us pick up your item for you. Commercial garbage truck traffic is heaviest between 3 - 5 p.m. on weekdays.
Some items may require special preparation or are not accepted at Recycling and Disposal Stations.
See Household Hazardous Wastes for how to safely dispose of household chemicals and other items that are accepted at the region’s Household Hazardous Waste facilities, but not at Recycling & Disposal Stations.
