Ballard Natural Drainage System
A natural drainage project is underway in the Loyal Heights area of Ballard to help prevent stormwater from getting into the sewer system and causing sewage overflows into Salmon Bay.

Delridge Natural Drainage System
A natural drainage project is proposed in the Highland Park area of Delridge to help prevent stormwater from getting into the sewer system and causing sewage overflows into Longfellow Creek.

Swale on Yale (Capitol Hill Water Quality Project)
SPU is working with Cascade neighborhood businesses and property owners to construct a stormwater treatment system on four blocks on Yale Avenue North and Pontius Avenue North.

Venema Natural Drainage System (Broadview)
Venema Creek is a tributary that flows into Piper’s Creek. This project is to construct a series of naturalistic “swales” to channel stormwater off the street and allow it to be absorbed into the soil.
