Stormwater Management Plan

The City of Seattle Stormwater Management Plan was developed for compliance with the Ecology issued 2012 NPDES Phase I Municipal Stormwater Permit and is designed to:

  • Protect water quality
  • Reduce the discharge of pollutants to the “maximum extent practicable”
  • Satisfy appropriate requirements of the Clean Water Act
  • Meet state requirements to use all known, available, and reasonable methods to prevent and control pollution to waters of the state

The documents below contain updated information on the City of Seattle's 2012 stormwater management activities for compliance with the Permit.
