June 2017

The Taylor Creek Culvert Replacement project was approved to move into the design phase in late spring 2017. During the next several months, the team will be reaching out to adjacent neighbors and the public at-large to get input on the design of the new natural area and other related features. If you are interested in receiving project information or event invites, please sign up for the project listserv.

Later this year, in compliance with the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) (Chapter 43.21C RCW) and Seattle Municipal Code (Chapter 25.05), SPU will identify, review, and disclose the potential environmental impacts of the proposed project and determine if those impacts will be significant. The public will have an opportunity to comment on this proposal, as well as appeal SPU’s determination of significance.
