Ballard Natural Drainage
A natural drainage project is underway in the Loyal Heights area of Ballard to help prevent stormwater from getting into the sewer system and causing sewage overflows into Salmon Bay.

Delridge Natural Drainage
A natural drainage project is underway in the Highland Park area of Delridge to help prevent stormwater from getting into the sewer system and causing sewage overflows into Longfellow Creek.

Natural Drainage Systems Partnering
SPU will partner with city departments, community organizations, and local residents to identify areas to build rain gardens along residential streets in the Thornton Creek, Longfellow Creek. and Pipers Creek beginning in 2018.

Swale on Yale (Capitol Hill water quality project)
SPU is working with Cascade neighborhood businesses and property owners to construct a stormwater treatment system on four blocks on Yale Avenue North and Pontius Avenue North.
