EPA Green Infrastructure Case Studies (pdf)
In this 2010 EPA publication, Seattle is one of 12 local governments for which a case study was conducted to look at how Seattle developed and implemented stormwater policies to support green infrastructure.
Rooftops to Rivers II - Green Strategies for Controlling Stormwater and Combined Sewer Overflows
This 2011 publication by the Natural Resources Defense Council further explores how cities are incorporating green infrastructure solutions to manage stormwater runoff. The report provides 14 case studies, including Seattle, from geographically-diverse cities across North America and outlines six key actions that cities should take to maximize green infrastructure investment while benefiting human, environmental and economic health.
