Midvale Stormwater Project
Midvale Stormwater Facility - Artist rendition November 2010.Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) has completed construction of a stormwater holding facility on a 1.8-acre commercial site in north Seattle that has a history of flooding during heavy rain storms. The facility is located at 10735 Stone Ave N, a few blocks northeast of the intersection of Aurora Ave N and Northgate Way. This project will greatly reduce the potential for localized flooding, and will provide water quality treatment to reduce the amount of pollutants entering Lake Union.
