Land Survey provides surveying services to City Departments; advises City Departments on survey related issues; provides survey data that is accessible to the citizens of the City of Seattle and to all City Departments; and advocates for improving survey issues that affect the citizens of Seattle.

Services provided include boundary surveys, topographic surveys, bathymetric surveys, construction surveys, monitoring surveys, right of way surveys, support for aerial photogrammetry surveys, control surveys, GPS surveys and others. Land Survey also provides advice on surveying matters, writes and checks land descriptions, and acts as a contact for negotiations with other surveying departments or surveying consultants.
