2008 Summer Weekend and Weekday Public and Group Tours

Public Tours
Join Seattle Public Utilities naturalists this summer for a
Cedar River Watershed Discovery tour (PDF) to the source of 70 percent of the Seattle Area's drinking water supply.

This 2.5 hour interpretive journey by bus and by foot into the 91,339-acre protected watershed (which is closed to unauthorized public access) is an unparalleled opportunity to discover a very special place.

  • • When: Fri, Sat & Sun, July through Mid-September, 9:45am to 12:30pm.

  • • Who: Anyone 10 years or older.

  • • Cost: $10 adults, $5 children (age 10+) and seniors.

  • • Registration begins May 1.

Group Tours
Join us for a van tour with spectacular views for organized groups of nine or more adults seeking in-depth information about water, land, and people.

  • • When: Weekends, April - June & Tuesday.- Thursday., June – September

  • • Who: Organized groups, minimum of nine people.

  • • •Cost: $5.00 per person.

  • • Registration Begins: March 1
