Location of aquatic plant species control by year
Milfoil in Walsh Lake has been concentrated along the southern and eastern edges, with many locations related to beaver activity. In 2009 a small bottom barrier was installed at the site of the original milfoil infestation to more effectively control the patch. White water lily has been found in widely scattered locations, with no obvious correlation to beaver activity.
