Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) offers a variety of opportunities for you to get involved in supporting, improving and giving back to your community whether you are looking for a regular commitment, a one-time event, or a seasonal opportunity.

Friends of Recycling	Help increase recycling at your apartment or condo.	Apartment/ condo residents	Ongoing, time commitment varies
Graffiti Cleanup	Paint out graffiti to make your neighborhood safer and more beautiful.	Individuals, families, groups, businesses	One-time or ongoing
Community Cleanup (Spring Clean)	Plan a neighborhood clean up event and SPU will supply materials and disposal.	Individuals, families, neighbors, groups, businesses, schools	Annual; every spring
Creek Restoration	Plant trees, pull ivy or count wildlife to help restore Seattle's creeks	Individuals, families, groups, schools	One-time or ongoing; training is available
Storm Drain Stenciling	Stencil storm drains in your neighborhood with the message "Dump no waste, drains to stream"	Individuals, families, groups, businesses, schools	One-time
