Greening Rainier Beach
Let's give Rainier Beach's trees some love
More Trees = Healthy Neighborhood
The City of Seattle is focusing on growing trees in the Rainier Beach neighborhood. Throughout the year, you may see us working on important tree projects such as planting, caring for young trees, pruning, and clearing trees away from power lines to reduce power outages. We will also be present at a number of community meetings and gatherings including Rainier Summer Streets.
Come on up and say hi - we would love to chat with you about the numerous benefits trees bring to a community and show you the best way to care for them.

Residential trees are an important and integral part of Seattle’s urban forest. The trees in yards and along streets strengthen our communities by cleaning our air and water, making our streets friendly for pedestrians, bikers, and drivers, keep us healthy and help reduce stress, and make Seattle a great place to live. Learn more about the benefits of trees here.
