The City passed an ordinance in August 2009 establishing a 9-member Urban Forestry Commission to advise the Mayor and City Council on policies, plans, and regulations related to the protection, management, and conservation of trees in Seattle.

Meeting Schedule:

Regular Urban Forestry Commission meetings will be held on the first and second Wednesday of the month from 3:00 to 5:00 in the Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 5th Ave, room 2750. Agendas and meeting materials typically will be posted on the full commission meeting documents page a week before each meeting. Upcoming dates:

  • May 11, 2011
