Designing Safer Streets

Roosevelt to Downtown HCT Project Definition

The TMP found that the University District – South Lake Union –Downtown corridor had the second-highest potential 2030 ridership of any Seattle corridor outside of the Center City. Study of this corridor will begin in mid 2014. This $1 million study, to take place over 2014-2015, will look at high capacity transit options, and shorter-term transit and streetscape improvements.

More information will be posted as the study begins. If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact Alison Townsend, Project Manager, at alison.townsend@seattle.gov or (206) 233-3780.
