Term Permit Mega Ordinance

At the City Council's request, the SDOT Director proposes an ordinance to allow the department to periodically renew term permits without Council resolution, as well as assess term permit fees by a standardized schedule, and make administrative changes to permits such as change in ownership and insurance and bond requirements. All of these tasks currently require a Council resolution to complete, and this ordinance will save time and effort for all affected permittees, the Council and the Department of Transportation.
