The South Lake Union Streetcar: LID Information and Contacts

Over half of the funding for the South Lake Union Streetcar was generated by Local Improvement District (LID) #6750. Through this LID, property owners along and near the streetcar route will pay $25 million toward the capital cost of the project.

LID #6750 was confirmed and the final assessments were levied in September 2006. Beginning in 2007, property owners will be sent collection notices every September for 18 years to pay their assessment.
