Over the next six years, the south end of Downtown Seattle will experience an unprecedented amount of transportation construction. Over $843 million in projects are being built that support SODO by:

• Improving connections to West Seattle, the Port of Seattle, stadiums, I-5, I-90 and SR99
• Making the south end of SR99 meet seismic standards
• Improving emergency access
• Managing traffic signals to react to real-time conditions
• Decreasing delays due to train crossings and bridge operations
• Providing information to motorists so they can make better route decisions
