The Rainier Corridor Traffic Safety Project

Over 50 Southeast Seattle residents and business owners celebrated the launch of the new traffic safety project along Rainier Avenue Wednesday, April 26, 2006. The first project of its kind in Seattle and King County, community members and local and state agencies collaborated to produce an Action Plan guiding activities for the next 18 to 24 months. Eight new signs identifying Rainier as a safety corridor have been installed at:

Southbound

Rainier & Jackson
Rainier & Forest
Rainier & Oregon
Rainier & Henderson

Northbound

Rainier & 75th
Rainier & Henderson
Rainier & 39th
