As part of the Major Public Projects Noise Variance for the Mercer Corridor Project, noise monitoring reports are produced to document recorded noise levels during nighttime construction work.

Mercer Corridor Project: Major Public Project Construction Variance (MPPCV)

A Major Public Project Construction Variance (MPPCV) is requested pursuant to SMC 25.08.590 and 25.08.655 to allow construction noise generated by the Mercer Corridor Project on site to exceed the maximum permissible sound level during nighttime hours (between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on weekdays and between 10:00 p.m. and. 9:00 a.m. on weekends and legal holidays) as specified in SMC 25.08.410 - 25.08.425.
