Study Area

The corridor is bounded by NW Market Street to the north, Third Ave NW to the east, Salmon Bay to the south and 30th Ave NW to the west. The analysis of traffic and transportation operations will focus generally on the east-west corridor defined by Leary Way NW, Shilshole Ave NW/NW 46th Street and Ballard Ave NW between 3rd Ave NW and 24th Ave NW. The study will also consider non-motorized improvements to the connections along the NW Market Street corridor between the Ballard Locks and the Ballard Business district.
