Pike & Pine Pedestrian, Bicycle & Transit Improvements Project
Update: August 21, 2009
The Pine-Pike project is substantially complete! The project successfully constructed two bus bulbs on Pine Street, a sidewalk on the Pine Street bridge over I-5, several curb bulbs, and two signal improvements on Pike Street. The new infrastructure will increase the speed and reliability of transit service along this important corridor, as well as improve conditions for pedestrian and bike traffic. The contractor will be back in the fall to plant the landscaping and complete any punch list items.

The Pike/Pine Transit Access Improvement Project improved safety and traffic flow for all modes of travel in the corridor - transit, pedestrians, bicycles and motor vehicles.
