It pays to drive less!
- After you register for the program you’ll receive:
- 10 METRO FREE RIDE TICKETS
- Info on how to reduce your driving and bus, bike and carpool more often (You select these brochures on the registration page.)
- As you report your progress, you’ll receive:
- A large, sturdy, canvas tote bag and In Motion pin after the first time you report in
- $5 in valuable vouchers for every week you keep your pledge. Earn up to $50 worth. See “Vouchers,” below for more details.
- Chances to win gift certificates and great prizes The more weeks you keep your pledge, the greater your chances! See “Prize Drawings,” below for more details.
- Wear your IN MOTION pin and
- Win an instant prize if you’re spotted by our “mystery IN MOTION spotter”
- Receive discounts on “Discount Days” at participating Uptown shops
Vouchers
For each week you report how you changed at least two trips from driving alone to some other travel mode, you will earn 10 points, which is worth $ 5 in Commuter Bonus Plus or Commuter Bonus vouchers. Complete your trip log each week and your points will add up!
You can choose which voucher you receive:
- Commuter Bonus Plus vouchers: $5 voucher good at Brown Bear Car Wash, Union 76, REI, YMCA, AAA and Flexcar
- Commuter Bonus vouchers: $5 voucher good for purchase of transit passes and ticket books from all regional providers. Vouchers can also be used to pay for vanpool fares.
Prize Drawings
Be sure to report your trips. There’s still time to get into the last prize drawings!
We have one more round of prize drawings: Oct. 10th, which will actually include two drawings: A general drawing where everyone reporting is eligible and another drawing for those reporting the most trips and/or having accumulated the most points.
So, if you have been putting off your reports, don’t delay, you could miss out on winning a terrific prize!
