Work on Some of the City’s Most Exciting and Challenging Capital Projects in 2008

SDOT is looking for contractors and consultants to bid on a wide range of construction and consulting opportunities that will be available in 2008.

SDOT’s Capital Projects and Roadway Structure (CPRS) Division is responsible for the planning, design and construction of capital projects that maintain and improve the City’s transportation infrastructure.  

The Capital Project Section awarded over $17 million in construction contracts, and over $13 million in consulting contracts in 2004; over $40 million in construction, and over $14 million in consulting in 2005; and over $12 million in construction, and over $7 million in consulting in 2006 through September.

Mayor Nickels, the Seattle City Council and the residents of Seattle are vigorously focused on improving transportation.
