Bicycle Program: Projects and Plans

The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) designs transportation projects to make walking, biking, and riding transit the easiest ways to get around the city.  Every year, SDOT installs new bicycle lanes and shared lane markings (sharrows) and constructs new bike trails and greenways to make it easier to get around the city by bike. Below, you will find more information about past and upcoming projects that improve conditions for bicycling in Seattle.
