Call for bids on the South Massachusetts Street to Railroad Way South Electrical Line Relocation May 2008 Be prepared for the next Moving Forward project The Federal Highway Administration, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), King County and the City of Seattleare preparing for construction on the next Moving Forward project. They have recently advertised the contract for the South Massachusetts Street to Railroad Way South Electrical Line Relocation Project, which will move electrical lines that are currently attached to the Alaskan Way Viaduct. WSDOT established a voluntary goal of eight percent for participation of certified minority- and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs) for this contract.
