ORCA Opportunity for SHA Tenants

UPDATE [8/10/20]: The SHA Pilot Program has been extended for another year. Your ORCA card is now valid through August 31, 2021. No action is needed at this time.  Please contact us if you need a replacement card.

As of June 1, Sound Transit will begin collecting fares on Sound Transit services.  At this time, King County Metro is not collecting fares.

To be eligible tenants must live in a pre-selected SHA property, be ages 19 - 64, and live in a household with less than 30% of the Area Median Income (AMI). If you live at Rainier Vista, New Holly, or High Point properties and are interested in receiving a card, you may enter our lottery for a card here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/shaorca. Eligible residents must also be between the ages of 19-64 and live at or below 30% Area Median Income (AMI). Selected residents will be notified during the week of August 24.

All current cards are valid through August 31, 2021.

All replacement ORCA cards will be handled by Seattle Department of Transportation and will be mailed to tenants. Each tenant is only eligible for 2 replacement cards. SDOT does not offer in-person replacement cards.  Each tenant is only eligible for 2 replacement cards.
