12. 4820 Rainier Avenue S:

This two-story apartment building, constructed in 1927 of brick with terra cotta details, has housed a number of different businesses in its storefront. In the historic view, taken in the 1930s, the storefront is occupied by a branch of Seattle's Seafirst Bank. Cleo's, a women's apparel shop, moved into the space in 1954. Today, it's home to a Starbucks coffee shop.
