Mind The Gap Project
Kawabe Memorial House

Using a wireless connection and a volunteer internal wiring team, this community technology project will extend training and free Internet service to the low-income seniors in Hilltop House and Kawabe Memorial House, two HUD-financed housing communities. The resident-led pilot project brings high speed Internet to the computer training labs and individual apartments.

This project began at Council House, led by resident Felippe Jacques. More than 31 of the residents of Council House are actively engaged in the Internet through the initial effort.
