Mobile Device Data

If you access our website and online services or use an application on a mobile device, we may collect certain information about that device.  Messages sent from certain mobile devices contain unique identifiers about the physical location of such devices. Some mobile device information may also be used for monitoring traffic flow or congestion throughout the City. This information allows for real-time traffic management, and determination of current travel times. Your wireless carrier and other service providers also collect data about your SMS Service usage, and their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.

Protections for Mobile Device Information

Generally, we will not use your phone number to initiate a call or SMS text message to you without your express prior consent, except under extraordinary circumstances such as emergency situations related to public health and safety. Additional technical security methods and solutions are used for mobile device data gathered for traffic congestion monitoring.
