2010-2011 Issues

The primary goal of the Seattle Youth Commission is give teenagers in the city a way to influence policy decisions that affect them and their peers.

For the 2010-2011 year we picked four issues to focus our efforts on based on feedback from our Youth Community Meetings and divided into corresponding committees:

1. Education
2. Youth Violence
3. Race and Social Justice
4. Transportation
