PRECINCT CAPTAIN RON WILSON

Captain Ron Wilson began his police career with the Seattle Police Department December 10, 1976. In his previous assignments as a Captain he commanded the Community Outreach Section and the Metropolitan Section which included SWAT, Harbor Patrol Unit, Mounted Patrol, Canine Unit and Crisis Intervention Team.
As a Lieutenant he held assignments as the Robbery/Fugitive/Gang Commander, Vice Unit Commander, East Precinct Watch Commander and West Precinct Operations Lieutenant. As a sergeant he was assigned to the Seattle Center Unit, West Precinct Anti-Crime Team, West Precinct Bicycle Sergeant, West Precinct Patrol and Communication Division (9-1-1) Sergeant. As an officer he was a Canine Handler and worked both West and East Precincts in patrol.
Captain Ron Wilson was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, lived in California and Nebraska before joining the United States Marine Corps.
