How to Apply

Letters of interest are always accepted although many vacancies are filled on an annual basis with materials due in January for terms beginning in April.

Members of the Seattle Pedestrian Advisory Board tend to travel by foot, wheelchair, or with the assistance of a mobility device regularly, represent a variety of ages, levels of mobility, and our City's diverse communities.  Members must be Seattle residents. The board meets the second Wednesday of each month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. downtown at City Hall on Fifth Avenue between James and Cherry streets. All members are unpaid volunteers; however some travel costs are covered.

The City of Seattle is committed to promoting diversity in the City's boards and commissions. Women, young persons, seniors, persons with disabilities, LGBTQ, persons of color, immigrants, and refugees are encouraged to apply. Interested Seattleites should submit a letter of interest and resume (optional) via email by January 24, 2020 to: Kadie Bell Sata at Kadie.Bell@Seattle.gov

For more information, please call Kadie Bell Sata at (206) 684-5884, or send e-mail to the address above.
