6:15 - 7:00
Bicycle Master Plan- Barbara Gray from SDOT’s Policy,
Planning, and Major Projects Division will update the board on the status of
the Bicycle Master Plan’s draft scope.
7:00 - 7:20
University Bridge Paving - The northbound lanes on the north side of the
University Bridge were recently re-paved as part of a routine maintenance project.
In response to inquiries from Transportation Choices Coalition’s former
Field Director, SDOT is planning on implementing some changes to the channelization
plan that will improve conditions for cyclists.
7:20 - 7:30
SBAB Partnerships - Nick Spang will update the board on his plans to establish
new partnerships with the SBAB.
7:30 - 7:40
Hit & Runs - A Seattle bicyclist was recently the victim of a hit and run.
Although the license plate number was recorded, the Seattle Police Department
has not pursued the offending motorist because the victim did not sustain life-threatening
injuries. The board will discuss the steps a victim of a hit and run should
take and what steps the board could take to increase the police’s prioritization
of hit and run incidents.
