City’s Translation & Interpretation Policy

Recognizing the need for a comprehensive strategy to better serve Seattle residents with limited English proficiency, a far-reaching translation and interpretation policy was established. In 2007, then Mayor Nickels signed an Executive Order directing City departments to adopt this new policy. The links below provide additional details.
