The City of Seattle recognizes that Seattle's street
rights-of-way are a great public resource. The City
will work collaboratively to design, construct, maintain
and manage our public properties and street rights-of-way
so they safely accommodate multiple modes of travel,
provide universal access as well as access to private
property, enhance a place's character, protect and where
practical enhance or restore environmental resources,
and allow for safe and efficient delivery of utility
services.
