Real Estate Services Division

Services - Acquisitions

FFD acts to acquire property needed for new or expanded facilities such as police and fire stations and other general government buildings.  FFD also plays a central role in real estate acquisitions by providing central oversight in identifying any issues that might arise from potential acquisitions prior to City Council action. 

The City Council adopted policies and procedures on real estate acquisitions in 1998.
