Public-facing Counters Temporarily Closed Beginning March 16

To protect the health and safety of our staff and customers, and to help mitigate the impact of COVID-19, we will temporarily close our public-facing customer service counters starting Monday, March 16 through Monday, May 31. The City will continue to re-assess this date leading up to it to see if we're able to resume services while still preserving the guidelines given by Public Health Seattle & King County. We will be working remotely and available to assist if you need anything.

Please note: Instructions for bid submittal and bid opening during this time period are outlined in the solicitation and/or addendum.

Business Licenses and Tax Payments
We encourage businesses to use the online portal, FileLocal, to get licensed, file tax returns and make tax payments while we are temporarily closed for in-person assistance.  Please see the guidelines for tax filing extensions offered as relief to small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.  If you have questions, please email tax@seattle.gov and a member of our team will answer you.
