How to Get Involved
Our success depends on the community
During October 2013, the CPC conducted an intensive campaign inviting the community to begin building a new partnership with SPD. The CPC considered the community input provided at over 140 community meetings and through more than 3,000 surveys to refine and improve its final policy recommendations issued on November 15, 2013. A second report will be issued in January 2014 that provides a more thorough and complete summary of the October 2013 community engagement results.
The community’s contribution in reviewing and commenting on policies and practices proposed for SPD is important both in the short- and long-term. Please keep in touch with us and share your thoughts as our work moves forward over the next two years. The CPC needs your help to create a stronger, safer and more connected community.
