School emphasis Officers (SEO)

School Emphasis Officers (SEOs) to focus on violence prevention and intervention in collaboration with Seattle Public elementary schools, middle schools and a high school. SEOs focus on gang resistance and violence prevention education and training, truancy and suspension reduction.

School Emphasis Officers are part of the city Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative (SYVPI) and supports the mission of supporting youth and families.
