This report describes the results of a telephone survey of Seattle residents conducted between May 9, 2003, and July 22, 2003, by the Vera Institute of Justice and the Jackson Organization. The survey was commissioned by the City of Seattle to assess the public’s level of satisfaction with the police department and to identify possible friction points in police-public interactions. |
