Safety & Prevention

Year after year, Seattle proves to be one of the safest major cities in the US. One of the reasons for this is how active and engaged our community is. Seattle residents and business owners are not tolerant of criminal behavior - they tend to be proactive, willing to report crimes and are involved in programs like Block Watch and Night Out in numbers that exceed the national average.

Our safety and prevention section is full of information you can put to use on a day-to-day basis to decrease the chances of crime happening to you.

The Seattle community is law enforcement's best partner in fighting criminal activity.
