SEATTLE POLICE AWARDS BANQUET

RECOGNITION & FUNDRAISING:
ABOUT THE BANQUET

The Seattle Police Foundation hosts the Annual Seattle Police Awards Banquet each fall. In every way, the annual Seattle Police Awards Banquet exemplifies the SPF mission of fostering visible and direct community support for the Seattle Police Department. The event honors the Seattle Police Department employees who best exemplify the spirit of public service. The 2007, 6th Annual event drew more than 1000 community and department members who were eager to recognize award winners, enjoy a night of entertainment and hear from the keynote speaker, Lou Tice, Pacific Institute.

In addition, the Banquet raises money to support SPF grant programs. In 2007 the Banquet raised more than $350,000 for this purpose.

The Awards Banquet is a fun and celebratory event that allows a chance for reflection on the year's achievements. Most importantly, the evening is an opportunity to hear the stories and recognize the work of the Seattle Police employees who make the Seattle Police Department one of the best law enforcement agencies in the Nation.
